Who is Greenland Organic?

Greenland Organic is a young Andalusian family business launched by Antonio, a young producer whose family pioneered organic farming in the 1990s.

Keen to continue the family tradition, Antonio understood that in order to ensure fair remuneration for organic farmers, it was necessary to break away from the traditional channels of resale to large retailers, who certainly buy large quantities, but at a price that he considers too low in view of the work involved.

To break free from this system, you therefore need to find your own customers.

Antonio knew that demand was high, and that it was therefore possible to find consumer groups.

Objectives and expectations

What it lacked, therefore, was the development of digital tools to increase its visibility and attract new customers, as well as to facilitate order taking and communication with these groups.

The website had to be accessible to people internationally, so it had to be produced in four languages: French, Spanish, English (and German to come).

Access to the shop also had to be restricted to groups that had already been manually approved by Antonio, as the delivery system used a freight carrier, so it was essential to check delivery options first.

Among the installed features, we note:

  • a customised multilingual shop that also allows you to generate a calendar showing the seasonality of the products offered on the site
  • a newsletter system to communicate with people who are curious about the concept, but also directly with groups, depending on their language
  • the installation of a self-hosted audience measurement system without the need for a cookie banner to improve the user experience (in compliance with the GDPR)
  • multiple multilingual conditional forms to manage requests to contact the company or groups, or requests to create consumer groups

The final result

A visual identity was created for this project (the logo already existed), using green and yellow as the main colours to evoke agriculture and sunshine.

Performance analysis

The site is hosted on our servers and performs very well thanks to the advanced optimisations we have implemented: cache, CDN, new-generation image formats, code optimisation, etc.
